A new track has been released from Lost on the River: The New Basement Tapes, a collection of recently discovered Bob Dylan lyrics that have been recorded by a group of folk music legends.
The lyrics are originally from 1967 and the new album will feature Elvis Costello, Rhiannon Giddens, Marcus Mumford, Taylor Goldsmith and Jim James. Lost on the River, which was produced by T Bone Burnett, will be available November 11.
“When I Get My Hands On You” is a simple tune with a laid-back vibe, as one might expect from these recording artists. Its lyrics are somewhat repetitive, adding to its overall rhythm. You can watch the lyric video below.
The group of musicians have already released two tracks from the upcoming album: “Nothing To It” and “Married to My Hack.” All of the Basement Tapes recordings will be available, including 30 new tracks, and the complete set can be pre-ordered.
