Rapper Azealia Banks has released a new track, “Chasing Time,” from her forthcoming album Broke With Expensive Taste.
Pitchfork posted her “half-sung, half-rapped” new single from her album, which they point out has been delayed for quite a while – it was originally supposed to be released in 2012.
“Chasing Time” sounds more radio-friendly than some of Banks’ other songs, including her singles “Jumanji” and “1991.” The beat is reminiscent of ’90s pop music, and the song as a whole is catchier than some of her other music, perhaps because of the sung chorus. Check out the new track below.
