Bob Dylan Honored In Upcoming Concert Featuring Performances By Jack White, Eddie Vedder And Neil Young

An all-star concert honoring Bob Dylan has been planned for next year’s Grammy Awards weekend because the legendary singer/songwriter has been named the 2015 MusiCares Person of the Year.

Consequence of Sound reports that the concert will include acts such as Jack White, Neil Young, Eddie Vedder, Beck, The Black Keys, Crosby Stills & Nash, Tom Jones, and Norah Jones. It will take place on February 6 in Los Angeles, and more performers will be announced in the future.

The MusiCares Person of the Year honors musicians who achieve greatness in their industry but also show a dedication to philanthropy. Proceeds from the concert itself will go to the MusiCares organization, which provides financial and medical assistance to musicians in need.

Meanwhile, Bob Dylan will be featured on Christmas album with Johnny Cash, The Band, Neil Young and others, as well as releasing all of The Basement Tapes. Jack White has had some recent controversy surrounding his rants and Eddie Vedder can be seen on tour with Pearl Jam this fall.
