Danny Brown has released a new video this week for his song, “Smokin’ & Drinkin’”, that appears on his album, Old.
The video for “Smokin’ & Drinkin’” was directed by Alan Del Rio Ortiz of Blood Orange and Smith Westerns fame. Ortiz created a black-light house party or club atmosphere that puts viewers in the moment, as if they were personally experiencing the scene that Brown recollects. The video cuts between shots of individuals dancing, smoking, and drinking and Brown singing, partying, and mingling. A-Trak and JMIKE produced this chemically enhanced party anthem.

In addition to appearing on Old, the song is also available on the new EP, Smokin’ & Drinkin’. The EP features remixes by Boys Noize, Jack Beats, DJ Sliink and TroyBoi, according to a press release. Smokin’ & Drinkin’ is available now in two formats – digital and limted-edition picture disc vinyl – and It features artwork by Mark Dancey, a Detroit-based underground comics artist.
