Walk The Moon have had a busy few years. They’ve been on tour with Grouplove, Young the Giant, fun., and most recently Panic! At the Disco. They also played a slew of festival slots. But now they’re headed out on a fall tour that will see them hitting much smaller, more intimate venues. The tour kicks off in October in Seattle and will make it’s way to Philly on November 5th, which also happens to be the last stop on the tour.
The upcoming North American tour is being dubbed the “Shut Up and Dance” Tour, named after their latest single. The track comes off of their upcoming album, but as of now, no title or date have been set for the release. We should expect it sometime later this fall, so we can expect to hear new material from the album during the “Shut Up and Dance” Tour.
It’s about time we got some new material from the band. They released their debut self-titled album in 2012. Their hit single “Anna Sun” rode it’s way up the Billboard charts. And their second single “Tightrope” made it’s way into a few commercials, making Walk The Moon an inescapable band. It will be exciting to see what they have in store for fans this fall and we’re looking forward to seeing them play a more intimate setting than usual. The last time they were in Philly, they were performing at Festival Pier, so Underground Arts will be a welcome change of pace. Grab your tickets now and head to Underground Arts this November.
