Rdio recently became a free listening experience, and today revealed Banks as the host for their “Artists to Watch” station. This is the first ever hosted Rdio station.
L.A based artist Banks has been quite active this year, with her new album Goddess having come out Sept 5. Before the album, she had released the single, “Someone New,” and new video for her other single, “Beggin’ For Thread.” Now, the sultry singer is set to host the first ever hosted Rdio station, “Artists to Watch.”
The station will, of course, feature artists that Rdio thinks you should be listening to, but it will also have Banks talking about her new album, her influences, and artists she’s watching. She’s also created a playlist called INSPIRATION where you can listen to artists that have helped shape Banks’ own unique sound.
The station’s 20 artists (Banks included) were picked by the Rdio team in January. You can check it all out below.
