Cut Teeth just premiered a new single “Christmas On Easter Island”. The song will be on their upcoming album Night Years set to be released on October 28 via Topshelf Records.
The rock band of Chicago is comprised of: Matt Jordan, Dustin Currier, Dan Yingling and Kyle Johns. It formed in 2011 when the four musicians who were previously in separate bands came together as one.
A harsh repetitive guitar carries most of the tune of the song “Christmas On Easter Island,” alongside the loud drums which keep a quick beat. The singing is quite intense.
The best parts of the song seem to be when the music takes over–such as about one minute in when the guitar and the drum solo together and the guitarist strums out a tune that makes one think of spinning out of control. There is a rawness to this song that is characteristic throughout in both music and vocal instruments.
