Fool’s Gold, a temperamental quintet from Los Angeles, has released a first single from their third record ‘Flying Lessons,’ due to release spring 2015. And if all the songs from the upcoming LP sound like ‘I’m In Love,’ the title of the album is chosen perfectly.
The first swallow in anticipation of their fall European tour, ‘I’m In Love,’ released via Soundcloud and available to download for free, presents California carelessness, groovy afrobeat and an animated vocals of Fool’s Gold bassist Luke Top, making your shoulders move from the very first moment. The song also comes with a remix, made by fellow Los Angeles band Poolside.
Imagine an island party, with massive drums and nice drinks, and a band playing this festival of life, floaty and lively at the same time. Who would you pick? To my mind, Fool’s Gold is an undisputed first choice.
