Lamb of God has announced the release of “As the Palaces Burn”. Set for release on October 14, the feature length documentary includes a 2-disk DVD with a bonus DVD of two hours of unreleased footage.
The documentary was originally intended to follow the band as a way to show the immense impact music can have on fans and various cultures. However, during production, lead singer Randy Blythe was arrested on charges of manslaughter. From that point, the documentary took a slightly different turn, but the band still wanted their story to be shared.
Loudwire commented on the documentary stating, “’As the Palaces Burn’ is truly unique. The film’s honesty fuels the viewing experience, documenting the abandonment of its own original concept without bailing on the fans.” “As The Palaces Burn” will be available on October 14.
