Have you done it yet? Have you listened to one of Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds songs and fallen into a musical love trance that you can’t get out of? Well, the band has the remedy–just another dose of one of their new songs released from their award-winning album 20,000 Days On Earth coming in September. A live recording of their new song “Give Me A Kiss” from The Sydney Opera House has been released for your comfort.
“Give Me A Kiss” is a deep, emotional heartfelt song that really grabs your attention, as lead vocalist Nick Cave sings with a passionate edge. The sentimental love tone keeps you interested in the meaning of the lyrics that only Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds truly know the meaning of. There is a lot of beautiful imagery and poetic flow in the lyrics like “And you’re still hanging out in my dreams…” and “In the blue room you whispered into the music…” It is truly a wonderful record.
The band has been having a lot of success with their music lately, as they celebrate the theatrical release of the new album. They have also recently performed at the Shrine with indie rock band Warpaint as well as taken the main stage at the Open’er Festival. That isn’t all. The band also performed special show at the Fonda Theater in 2013 with a full choir and strings. If you really understand music, then you understand that this band has a gift.
