LISTEN: Black Moth Releases New Song “Tumbleweave”

Brit heavy/doom rockers Black Moth have released a third single off their forthcoming album.

Following “White Lies” and “Room 13,” this third single off the new album, Condemned To Hope is hard-hitting, heavy and dark in a wry sort of way. Singer Harriet Bevan’s vocals are rich as she croons out lyrics that are soulful and snarky: “You’re the fairy tale princess of his wildest dreams, in a paper tiara you’re the burger queen.”

As a self-described “unearthly concoction” of different musical genres, this Leeds band continues to offer up new sounds, making their sophomore album one to look forward to. SPIN.com calls Black Moth “punishing, pummeling riff-rock that splits the difference between Queens of the Stone Age and Black Sabbath.” This new song certainly calls to mind both those iconic artists, in an infectious track that shows us what we can expect in Condemned To Hope, which comes out September 15 via New Heavy Sounds.
