It’s been a long time coming but the wait is over. Faith No More is recording a full-length album to be released April 2015. Band members Mike Bordin on drums, Roddy Bottum on keyboards, Bill Gould on bass, Jon Hudson on guitar and Mike Patton as lead vocalist will be bringing us some new music since their 1997 Album of The Year.

It’s been 18 years since we’ve last heard an album of the year from rock band Faith No More. The good news is the band will be breaking their silence with a full-length album to be released April 2015. They are recording with Gould handling production, as the magic happens inside of an Oakland, California studio.
Since being reunited in 2009, the band has been performing at music festivals, playing gigs with other artists, performing new music, working on new projects, and telling their story through new book called The Faith No More & Mr. Bungle Companion. Now, after a long hiatus, the band is continuing to fashion their careers with the new album.
“We’ve always shared a chemistry between ourselves that’s unique to this band, but these past few years of touring together have made us aware that we not only play better as a unit, but we like the new stuff we’re coming up with,” says bass player Bill Gould, who spoke with Rolling Stone, “So we’ve decided: we’re going to get busy in 2015…make an album we’re proud of, kick things up a notch, get out there and perform it and maybe even dedicate a little more focus to our fans in the States this time.”
There will be a limited edition of new 7-inch single “Motherfucker” for those who act quickly. Only 5,000 copies will be available via Record Store Day’s Black Friday event November 28. It will be digitally released on December 9.
