The Babes in Toyland recently mentioned the possibility of a reunion. However, after this mention a few months ago, the news seemed to die down. Now, new proof of their reunion has surfaced.
The Babes in Toyland released their last album, Nemesisters in 1995. For six years following this release, the group continued to play shows, playing their last show in 2001. Rumors of a reunion have surfaced every now again, but nothing was ever confirmed until now.
In a recent interview with Lancer Radio at Pasadena College, Kat Bjelland and Maureen Herman confirmed that the group would be reuniting to create new material and play new shows. Additionally, a photo surfaced on Tumblr of the group rehearsing together.
In the interview, The Babes in Toyland mentioned they want to play at a benefit for Lady Parts Justice, but no further information is available at this time.
