Banks releases her new single “Someone New” less than a month from releasing her full-length album, Goddess.

The singer Banks expresses a whole new sentiment with her music, as she graces the track with beautiful soft vocals accompanied by a soothing guitar melody.
According to Consequence of Sound, “here on “Someone New”, the R&B singer is front and center, her voice alone left to carry the burden of such heavy matters of the heart. With only the faint strums of an acoustic guitar to accompany her, Banks pleads for a loved one to wait for her return: “Everything I make, I only make for you / Baby, be patient for me and please don’t fall in love with someone new.”
In July, Banks released “Beggin For Thread;” more vibrant pop tune. She also released an electric soul type of sound in her song called “Drowning” in May. Banks has planned to tour in the fall in support of her new album that will feature all three of her new singless.
