The War On Drugs are back in the spotlight with their new video ‘Under The Pressure’ from March-released third LP ‘Lost In The Dream’.
Philadelphia-based shoegazers are excellently following their spirit in the new clip – the focus is divided between the band’s members performing in the derelict house and yard, and sepia tinged suburban landscapes. Vulture describes the song as ‘a music for the open road, when after hours of driving, towns and trees and sunshine and stars and brake lights blur together’, and that’s exactly what it is.
Directed by Houmam, the video seems to absorb everyone watching it in the atmosphere of band frontman Adam Granduciel’s reverie and loneliness.

This fall and winter are turning into a sidereal time for The War On Drugs – the band will be extensively touring U.S. and Europe, with a perfect choice of season for music like this.
