The Shindig Music Festival Announces 2014 Lineup Including Jane’s Addiction and Rise Against

The Shindig Music Festival is returning Saturday, Sept. 27 to Carroll Park for a daylong, two-stage lineup with alt-rock legends JANE’S ADDICTION and punk rock band RISE AGAINST. Baltimore will host the shindig celebrating the DIY Rock and Roll spirit in the city’s Pigtown district.

The Shindig welcomes festival lovers to another year of food, fun festivities, and great music emphasizing on absolutely great music for the two identical main stages with no overlapping sets. According to last year’s attendants, it was a resounding success. So be prepared for another day of Shindig Music Festival 2014 success.

“I was born and raised in Baltimore and creating a festival and vibe we’ve never seen was my goal,” says THE SHINDIG’s curator, longtime Maryland independent concert promoter, Paul Manna at 24-7 Entertainment, “As a fan of every artist playing, I just know that thousands of live music lovers will truly appreciate this lineup as much as I do. Seeing Perry Farrell and Jane’s Addiction, one of my all-time favorite bands, perform in Pigtown will certainly be the icing on the cake.”

Bring your appetites, as the Vending Village in The Woods will bring a variety of Baltimore’s best and familiar food and beverage options. The festival will make sure you won’t be hungry or thirsty, while enjoying hours upon hours of live entertainment.

Carroll Park is located 1/2 mile from Camden Yards, M&T Bank Stadium, I-95, and I-395 in the heart of Baltimore’s beloved Pigtown.
