Wax Trax! Records Announces Front 242 Release For September 2014

Recently ressurected Wax Trax! Records looks like really retuning back to business, and KMFDM’s ‘Help Us-Save Us-Take Us Away’, released in September 1992, won’t be the last record released at Wax Trax!.

After Julie Nash, the daughter of recording studios co-founder Jim Nash, revived the label by releasing the debut 12-inch ‘TKO Mindfuck’ by Chris Connelly’s (Ministry, Revolting Cocks) new band – Cocksure, there will be a second record released from the label September this year.

Front 242 is about to release their 7-inch single through Wax Trax!, including live tracks recorded back in 1984 and 2011. Limited to 500 copies, the vinyl will include a remastered recording of ‘Take One’, performed in 1984 at Medusa’s in Chicago, and a version of ‘Im Rhythmus Bleiben’, recorded at the Wax Trax! Retrospectacle concert in 2011.

Being the first Front 242 label release in 25 years, it will be sold only at Front 242’s three U.S. dates – in New York, Tampa and Chicago.

Don’t miss Front 242’s live shows this September (indicated below), and watch legendary Wax Trax! Records further transformation.

Front 242 Tour Dates:
09\24: New York, NY – Irving Plaza
09\25: Tampa, FL – The Orpheum
