Royksopp & Robyn premiered their music video for the track “Monument” on August 12 via Vice + Intel’s The Creators Project.
The song is on the collaborative album they released earlier this summer, Do It Again. Previously, Royksopp & Robyn released music videos for the album’s title track and for another tracked entitled “Sayit.”
The “Monument” video could almost be considered a lesson in human anatomy, with repeated shots of nerves, veins, eyes and other inner workings of the body. Overall, the video has somewhat of a dystopian feel, with the musicians sitting or lying down on a brightly lit, circular platform alone in darkness. Some of them eventually begin to move into what seems like interpretive dance.
