Myrkur, a Danish, one-woman black metal project, has released a new track entitled “Latvian Fegurö” from her forthcoming debut EP.
Her EP will be out on September 16 via Relapse. Myrkur has already released a short film that features music from the EP and depicts her walking around in nature. She has gained notoriety for being mysterious, which the short film didn’t change – though she appears in it, she is mostly covered up and viewers can’t see most of her face. You can watch the film below.
The new song opens with an ethereal chanting, then changes pace quickly with rapid drum beats and guitar riffs. Myrkur’s vocals remain soft but overpowering throughout the track. Listen to “Latvian Fegurö” below.
