Ray’s intensity takes center stage later this month, as she kicks off her nationwide fall tour sans Her Happy Hookers.
Ray’s upcoming tour will not feature her latest outfit, Shilpa Ray and Her Happy Hookers, but will instead showcase Ray as a solo artist with a backing band, a representative said.

Fans can expect Ray to try out brand new material, while also hitting on material from her most recent LP, “Teenage and Torture,” and her most recent EP, “It’s All Self Fellatio.” Ray will be supported by She Keeps These, a blues-rock duo also haling from Brooklyn.
