House of Hayduk Announce New Album Distant Early Warning Featuring Billy Gould and Dave Lombardo

Ex-Slayer drummer Dave Lombardo will be contributing to the next House of Hayduk album, an experimental project helmed by composer Mads Heldtberg and Faith No More’s Billy Gould.

Slated for a 2015 release, “Distant Early Warning” will feature Lombardo along with a host of other musicians, following House of Hayduk’s trend of bringing established musicians together to create an entirely new sound.

House of Hayduk came on the scene in 2012 with “City of Quartz,” a limited release that packed experimental production elements into four massive tracks. With Lombardo onboard, it appears the group is looking to expand its reach in the music world, adding to an already impressive lineup.

Since parting ways with Slayer, Lombardo has reformed his side project, Grip Inc.. There is no word on how Lombardo’s contributions to the new House of Hayduk album will affect work on the rumored Grip Inc. album.

There is no word yet on whether “Distant Early Warning” will have a circulation similar to “City of Quartz.” The group have released a teaser. Check it out below.
