After being extremely active in 2013 with performances at Glastonbury, Coachella, Primavera and lots of others, London electro house duo has been thoroughly working over their next record, ‘Whorl’, announced for release not so long ago.
A new music video ‘Dervish’, presented recently, shows the realness of the band’s intentions. ‘Dervish’ is a solid mix of techno, house and trance in one pack, for dancing and chilling at the same time, for getting hard and softening the nerve.
With a repetitive kick matched with a looping and simple, but catchy melody, Simian Mobile Disco seems to have found the exact sound they were born to make – an adult impulse, all-sufficient sickness and cure in one bottle. Never miss a feeling like that.
