Este Arielle Haim, Danielle Sari Haim and Alana Mychal Haim make up the soft rock trio HAIM. Dash Hutton is the band’s drummer. In 2006 the sisters formed the band, while also focusing other projects and parts of their lives. They toured and supported several other arts in various forms before releasing their EP Forever. The record came out in 2012 and was initially available for free free download from the band’s website. HAIM was signed to Polydor Records shortly thereafter. The following year they released Days Are Gone. That year the band was awarded the BBC Sound of 2013 award. Alana Haim won the NME Award for “Best Twitter” Award in 2013 and 2014. The band won Best International Band at the 2014 NME Awards.
