Yes! Karen O releases her new song “Rapt” from her forthcoming Crush Songs album to the public. It premiered on BBC 6 Music.
She announced the unveiling of her song “Rapt”Friday evening on her twitter:

Her soft vocals and laid-back instrumentals bring such an interesting vibe to music. And after a three-day anticipation, fans can finally listen to her new song Rapt on BBC 6 Music.
Rapt comes from her latest Crush Songs album that shares one of Karen O’s personal life experiences. There seems to be a story behind all her Crush Songs, as she states in an interview. “When I was 27 I crushed a lot,” says Karen O, “I wasn’t sure I’d ever fall in love again. These songs were written and recorded in private around this time. They are the soundtrack to what was an ever continuing love crusade. I hope they keep you company on yours.”
The album will be out September 9 but available for pre-order on Itunes July 29 along with a free download of Rapt.
