Le Guess Who? Festival Announces November 2014 Lineup Including St. Vincent, Sharon Van Etten and tUnE-yArDs

The November edition of The Netherlands’ Le Guess Who? Festival is filling out and looking fine. St. Vincent and tUnE-yArDs join legendary bluesman Dr. John and a strong contingent of European stars. Full list of performers below.

You may remember another Le Guess Who? announcement back in February. Pretty major festival, featuring Neutral Milk Hotel and the Black Lips among others.

Well, that’s the warmup.

Le Guess Who? has two incarnations, a one-day concert in May, and a four-day bash in November. The first wave of announcements for the larger one is out, and it’s pretty impressive. The festival generally aims to attract talent not normally seen in The Netherlands, but aside from that, most regional and genre bets are off. That’s how you wind up with mashups like the 2012 edition, which had the Fuck Buttons sharing a marquee with FIDLAR and Deerhoof.

There’s another glorious gumbo set for 2014. Dr. John, one of the most famous sons of the New Orleans blues scene, is inbound. St. Vincent and the tUnE-yArDs are coming, as is New York’s Sharon Van Etten. On the European side, German industrial forefathers Einstürzende Neubauten are slated to play, and Icelandic-by-way-of-Australia Ben Frost is as well.

One hell of a mix.
