Twin Shadow is the stage name of new wave artist George Lewis Jr. The Brooklyn native started out in Mad Man Films, which released two albums before Lewis left in 2006. After moving to New York, he began Twin Shadows and released Forget in 2010. Two years later, he followed it up with Confess, which Lewis produced. In between albums Twin Shadow played the Coachella, Pitchfork, Bonnaroo and Sasquatch musical festivals.
Twin Shadow is signed to Terrible Records/4AD. He has been featured as a musical guest on both Late Night with Jimmy Fallon in 2011 and Conan in 2013. He has also supported Florence and the Machine on tour. Lewis also authored the book The Night of the Silver Sun.
