Tim Alexander Undergoes Successful Open Heart Surgery

Tim Alexander, drummer for both Primus and Puscifer, had open heart surgery on July 21 and is reportedly doing well.

Alexander suffered heart attack on July 18, becoming widely-spread news over the weekend on social media and news sites. His surgery was scheduled for early this week to remove a blockage.

The Puscifer Facebook page was the first to alert fans to Alexander’s heart attack last week, while Primus was the first to report on his post-surgery good news on their Facebook band page:

Tim Alexander Is Out of Surgery. The Mighty Tim “Herb” Alexander has pulled through surgery, the blockage from his heart has been removed with no complications and all signs point to a glorious and speedy recovery.
