In a jungle of pop music industry, Kate Nash has always felt herself carelessly and dreamy. Finding herself and her music style, Kate made a travel from indie pop on first two records to more of a garage rock sound on her 2013’s LP ‘Girl Talk’, going away from the major label and crowdfunding money online to make a third record.

Now, in a new music video called ‘She Rules’, Nash once again has stepped away from her music style towards early 90’s lo-fi pop music, with pink hair, pink champagne, pink friendship – everything in pink.
With an unpretentious drum beat and bass line, post-punk vocals and lots of comic dancing, running, whole demonstrative happiness, Kate shows the bright side – including yawning dogs and not being afraid to be yourself. Well, that proves again that English singer-songwriter is still trying, that might not be the final version of a ‘new Kate Nash’.
Anyway, the video is worth watching, Kate’s colorful appearance and the clip’s friendly atmosphere won’t leave you gloomy.
