Reunited in January 2014, after almost 20 years since their break-up in 1995, English fundamental dream pop\shoegaze outfit Slowdive has been on a real good run in recent months.
After debuting at Barcelona Primavera Music Festival in May, the band has been touring all over Europe, including recent Roskilde and Latitude festival performances, and their highly-awaited Asian live shows in the nearest future.
On October 22nd, Slowdive begins North American tour with special guests Low opening their performances everywhere except Boston, MA. Their first North American tour in two decades includes Toronto return, where they played their final show back in 1994.
“North America was good to Slowdive back in the 1990s,” the band said in a press release. “We have a special connection to our audience out there and can’t wait to return in 2014!”
Intriguing, don’t you think?
