Weird Al Yankovic released a parody to Pharrell’s happy, with his own version called “Tacky”. The video features Jack Black, Kristen Schaal, and Margaret Cho.
The video draws its inspiration from the “24-hours of Happy” videos that Pharrell released earlier this year. The video plays up “unappealing modern behaviors”. The video features dancers dressed in awkwardly bright outfits, to draw on the idea of tackiness. Weird Al succeeded in putting a fun twist on what has become a radio classic.
