Glasgow-based indie rockers We Were Promised Jetpacks are back in the spotlight with the announcement of their new LP ‘Unravelling‘.

The record is to be released this fall, and is a follow-up to their 2011’s ‘In the Pit of the Stomach’. Record-preview song ‘Safety in Numbers’ gives the impression that the band’s third LP is going to be the most mature and commercially successful album.
Recorded on FatCat Records with Paul Savage, well-known for his work with Franz Ferdinand and Mogwai, and adding the new member to the band – multi-instrumentalist Stuart McGachan, Glasgow indie rockers seem like having found their niche – U2-like Adam Thompson’s vocals, massive guitars, spacious keyboards and arena drums make you want to get the live show tickets.
As for the latter, the band will be touring Europe and North America this fall.
