Chicago-based psychedelic black metal outfit Nachtmystium has just announced the release dates for their final album ‘The World We Left Behind‘. The nine song album is set for release on August 5th in North America and August 4th in Europe/Australia/New Zealand.

Nachtmystium describe their last album as ‘a black metal memorial, oozing of desperation, gloom and depravity‘.
Blake Judd, controversially provocative co-founder and the only permanent member of Nachtmystium, previously announced the band’s breakup, raising expectations for Nachtmystium’s ‘The World We Left Behind’ last scream. The final record will be a follow-up to 2012’s ‘Silencing Machine’.

The album turned out fantastic and is a perfect end to a wild voyage over the last 14 years, – Blake Judd said in a statement.
