Jeff Tweedy and his son Spencer are shaping up to be a formidable father-son musical duo. In the lead-up to their September album release, they’ve put out a track called “Wait For Love.”
As written in a recent Consequence of Sound article, Jeff Tweedy and son Spencer have broken out as one of the coolest father-son musical duos around, with appearances including the Newport Folk fest and Beck’s latest Song Reader album. In Jeff’s version of how this came to be, it all started with 18-year-old Spencer sitting in on drums during demo sessions and it just evolved from there into the two joining to record the album Sukierae, originally meant to be a Tweedy solo album. View and listen to Tweedy’s newly released track from their upcoming September-release record.
