Death From Above 1979 released a new song, “Trainwreck 1979”. The song was debuted on July 7 during Zane Lowe’s BBC Radio 1 show.
Death From Above 1979 is expecting to release their new album during September. The album, The Physical World, will be the band’s first since the release of their 2004 album You’re A Woman, I’m a Machine.
After a long hiatus, the group reunited in 2011 and had a reunion tour in 2012. In an interview with NME, Death From Above 1979 frontman, Jesse F Keeler said in regards to the forming of a new album, “It quickly became apparent that if we tried to do this again, we could make a record that would satisfy us more.”
