Death From Above 1979 Announces New Album The Physical World for September 2014 Release

Dance-punk group Death From Above 1979 have announced the release of a new album this September, as well as a headlining tour in Europe and the U.S. this fall.

The Physical World will be out on September 9 via Last Gang Records/Warner Bros. Records. The duo released their debut album, You’re A Woman, I’m A Machine, 10 years ago and subsequently broke up. Fortunately for fans, the album and its remix continued to sell, so Jesse F. Keeler (bass, synths, backing vocals) and Sebastien Grainger (vocals and drums) reunited to play live shows. The first track from the forthcoming album is “Trainwreck 1979,” a loud song with a fast beat and strong vocals. The track listing for The Physical World and Death From Above 1979’s fall tour dates are below.
