WATCH: Marissa Nadler Releases New Video For “Firecrackers”

In celebration to her upcoming North American and European tour, Boston-based folk singer-songwriter Marissa Nadler released a new video for her song ‘Firecrackers’.

The video, directed by Ryan Walsh, is in black and white, filming Marissa in reverse doing literally everything, from rearranging the bookshelf to splashing the water all over the street, with a distinctive note of sorrow and dreaminess. At the second part of the video there appears a viscous liquid flowing on the background, what makes us even more sucked into the film, and adds more melancholy to the viewer’s mood.

In February, Nadler released her sixth full-length studio album “July”, recorded at Seattle’s Avast Studios.
