Radiohead’s Phil Selway Announces Solo Album Weatherhouse For October 2014 Release

New music in the works from Phil Selway. The Radiohead drummer is gearing up for his second full-length release. Weatherhouse will be arriving October 7th through Bella Union Records.

There’s a small chance you’ve heard of Selway in strictly Radiohead-related contexts. That particular rock monolith has a way of dominating conversations. However, Selway does more than keep time for Yorke and company. He’s an accomplished musician in his own right, something we had confirmed by the 2010 release of his debut solo album Familial, which received solid marks across the critical board.

Other than the Running Blind EP, which showed up in 2011, we haven’t heard from solo Selway since. He’s obviously been busy with Radiohead – the band released the acclaimed The King of Limbs in 2011 – and with his own personal pursuits, but it’s time for some more material. Weatherhouse is well on its way; check below for a full track listing.
