Shoegaze pioneers My Bloody Valentine of Dublin, Ireland, are on the verge of releasing new music. Or are they?
My Bloody Valentine has something of a reputation for delayed gratification. But, all things considered, the wait for mbv was more than worth it. So if anything, a bit of a wait is a good thing for the band.
According to a recent article on Stereogum, singer and guitarist Kevin Shields confirmed that the group will gather in October, possibly November to work on new material. No hard release date has surfaced yet, but don’t sweat that. If mbv was any indication, delays might not be so bad.
