Watain Drenches Crowd With Pig’s Blood At Brooklyn Show

Black metal band Watain covered members of their Brooklyn audience in pig’s blood from a goat skull on June 15.

The show at the Brooklyn Bazaar on Sunday was the Swedish band’s only stop in the U.S. on their current tour. TMZ.com reported that frontman Erik Danielsson “present[ed] the audience with a goat skull full of animal blood… then drench[ed] the crowd. [The members of the band] use REAL pig’s blood. You hear audience members shriek… and we’re told some barfed and cried. Shockingly… cops say no one complained. And no one has heard a peep from the health department.

Some fans in the audience filmed the whole ordeal and posted it to YouTube. Below are nine instances of footage from the Watain show.
