London electronic duo Goldfrapp will soon be digitally releasing a deluxe edition of 2013’s Tales of Us, featuring the album as well as the audio from a live set they performed in March. Also included are short films for five of the stories told through the album, and that for “Jo” can now be seen for the first time, below.
Tales Of Us Deluxe Edition will be released worldwide on June 30th, then in the US on July 8th. The additional live recording included comes from Goldfrapp’s performance at a global cinema event at London’s Air Studios, where they played alongside the showing of the short film Tales Of Us. This set featured old and new hits from the duo, including those from the new album.
The five short films – “Laurel”, “Drew”, “Jo”, “Stranger” and “Annabel” – included on the deluxe edition were all directed by Lisa Gunning, and the latter recently won Best Music Video at a Transgender Film Fest.
