Only one year after the work in his recording of the soundtrack for The Sleepwalker, his wife Mona Fastvold’s debut film, Sondre Lerche will soon be releasing his own seventh studio album, Please. Lerche and Fastvold divorced not long after the completion of the film, thus adding to the mystique and curious interest the new album holds.
Please, due out September 2nd, is touted in a recent press release with the following:
Despite aligning with a recent divorce from his wife of eight years, Please is brimming with crisp electronic flourishes, bold, economic production, and an infectious new energy and sense of purpose.
