While there’s no word yet on an upcoming new record from Santigold, the electropop darling has just released the single “Kicking Down Doors,” to be featured on the World Cup-based album Pepsi Beats of The Beautiful Game that comes out June 10th.

Also providing tracks for the compilation album are Rita Ora, Timbaland and Janelle, the latter of which sings an updated cover of David Bowie’s “Heroes”.
Santigold’s “Kicking Down Doors,” in the meantime, is the first we’ve heard from her since 2012’s Master of My Make-Believe, and it’s definite dancehall number that features a solid electro base. This is likely due to the work electronic producers Yogi, who recently signed to Skrillex’s label OWSLA, did for the song.
