mxdwn PREMIERE: Home Video’s “Forget”

mxdwn is proud to be the first to present Home Video’s first single to the world of American indie rock and electronica. “Forget” is the lead single off the album that is infused with a disco feel and a modern twist. The passionate vocals are backed by a compact drum beat and complemented by tambourine shakes. The layered vocals and organic electro pulses give the track a funky texture. The eccentric electronic melody gives the song its power and drive. Swells of the chorus bring rhythm and substance. Home Video has blended a beat with relaxing ambiance and dance groove versatility.

Dave Gross and Collin Ruffino will soon be dropping their third album, “Here In Weightless Fall” on June 24th. It has been said that the band “demonstrates their adept hand at mixing electronic elements and moody, atmospheric rock, with lyrical investigations of politics and interpersonal relationships anchoring the album.” After being compared to artists like Massive Attack and Radiohead, Home Video produces a unique sound that sets them apart.
