WATCH: Jack White Releases New Video For “Lazaretto”

Jack White, of The White Stripes, The Raconteurs, The Dead Weather, and the headlines, just debuted the music video for “Lazaretto,” the title track from his upcoming solo album (out June 9). The video is trippy and chaotic, and White is at his cockiest, smirking and even once spitting at the camera.

The video is the first off Lazaretto, which earned the title of “World’s Fastest Released Record” when White managed to produce the first batch of seven-inch pressings mere 3 hours, 55 minutes and 21 seconds after recording the album live. Since then, White has shared a number of songs from the album, including “Temporary Ground” and “Just One Drink.” The full album, due out June 10, will be released digitally as well as in an “Ultra LP” version, which will offer secret features like hidden tracks and holograms.

Although Jack White recently made headlines for his (quickly retracted) attack on the Black Keys for allegedly plagiarizing the White Stripes, his new album promises to shift the focus away from music scene feuds and onto the music itself.
