The Sirens, a trio of pioneering metal singers, will be touring this fall and winter in Europe.
The all-female group includes Kari Rueslåtten of The 3rd And The Mortal, Anneke van Giersbergen of The Gathering and Liv Kristine Espenaes Krull of Leaves’ Eyes and Theatre Of Tragedy. It all started when Anneke approached Kari to do a duet on her 2013 album, Drive. The song they recorded together did not make the final cut of the album, but the two stayed in touch. Later, Anneke and Liv met at the Masters Of Rock festival in the Czech Republic, which led to the idea and formation of The Sirens.
The tour will take place in two parts, one in October and one in December. The three artists will perform together, as well as singing tracks from their other bands and respective solo careers. Tour dates will consist of them singing alone, in duets and all three together, making it an experience for current and newly interested fans.
