An epic jam session involving Members of both Earthless and Heavy Blanket can now be heard by all who missed the live experience. Schedule to be released July 8, “In a Dutch Haze” will preserve the entire performance, which took place at 2012’s Roadburn festival in Holland.
J. Mascis and Graham Clise of Heavy Blanket joined with Earthless’s Mario Rubalcaba and Mike Eginton for an impromptu performance for the ages, topping out at nearly a full hour. The album of the recording is being released by Outer Battery Records and Roadburn Records on July 8. While the album sports both band’s names, only Mascis, Clise, Rubalcaba, and Eginton played at the Roadburn performance, but the four did just fine on their own as they rocked the Tilburn, Holland stage.
