Trentemoller Releases New Video for “Deceive”

Trentemoller has released a new video for the song “Deceive”. “Deceive” is the fourth single of the new studio album Lost and features Sune Rose Wagner from the Raveonettes.

Trentemoller’s goal of the video was is to create a work that combines painting, dance, performance, and music. The “Deceive” video is a study of a horse. In a press release the vision of the video is explained. “The video is a study of a horse, an animal Emenius presents as both pre-historic and modern. The camera examines its movements, muscles, skin, limbs, hair, and bones. Its viability and brutality is juxtapozed with the temporality of the body. The eye links the horse, like a conversation without words, to the rest of us and for all its banality it’s beautiful”.

Danish artist, Andreas Emenius who has worked on various projects with Trentemoller, both hope that the can expand the dialogue between international artists.
