Haunted Hearts, the husband and wife duo of Dee Dee Penny from Dum Dum Girls and Brandon Welchez from Crocodiles will release Initiation, their debut full-length album on May 27. The Zoo Music release will feature music recorded in studios across the country. Their latest single, “Up is Up (But So is Down)” was accompanied by a video from Dazed Digital.
Previously known for their NSFW album art, Haunted Hearts has now taken their music into the realm of motion. The new video from director Scott Kiernan breaks violently between modern videography and a grainy horrowshow quality, while featuring copious amounts of chromed plastic accents.
