!!! (Chk Chk Chk) are heading out on tour this summer, making stops around Europe and pretty much coast to coast in the continental U.S. This is the first we’ve heard in awhile from the ambiguously-titled band, although they did release a Christmas single this past holiday season.

It’s been more than a year now since !!! released their most recent album, THR!!!ER and the tour has been something the band has been talking about for awhile. At the end of last summer, !!! released a single off of that album, “Californiyeah,” with a creative instrumental track and rockin video. The dance punk band has been around since 1996 and has released five studio albums since, progressing from a strictly dance punk band to lately, including a sound that sounds a little bit like rap.
The band says they’ll incorporate some new material into this year’s live shows, which include a few festival appearances in Europe and Canada. They say new material is coming later this year, so there’s lots to look forward to after the tour.
