The Los Angeles-based trio has unveiled new music since 1996 and prepares for their first North American tour in seventeen years.

Formed in 1990, Failure had a long and good run until the band’s culmination in 1997. However, a reunion was announced last November in addition to a Record Store Day Back To Black re-release of their 1994 production Magnified. News didn’t stop there as they embarked on spring tour with legendary Tool after performing for the first time in 16 years in a Valentine’s day gig at El Rey in Los Angeles. The band also announced summer tour across the north of the continent which will extend until June.
Now, Failure has released – via bandcamp – a track titled “Come Crashing” their first release since the 1996’s landmark album Fantastic Planet. The song has a distinctive 90’s rock vibe added to some modern production: a synth line that becomes omnipresent after the second verse added to some amazingly well crafted guitar riffs full of power and energy. The song will be included on a tour-only EP – Tree of Stars – which features live recordings of “Let It Drip”, “Frogs”, “Sergeant Politeness” and “Heliotropic”.
